Trisan Palma was born on 1962 in Waltham Park, Kingston, Jamaica.
He was singing from nine age as backing vocal with Tony Tuff and
Sugar Minott 's African Brothers. At that time, there wre Little
John, Barlington Levy as Sugar's Youth Promotion. His first recording
is "Splif Till" which was produced by Philip Morgan and Aswell Thomas,
recorded in Channel One released from Black Solidary became big hit
in Jamaica. His style was always said as Singing Jay style wihch
matched in a Dancehall style. In might 80's, he was co-worked with the
producer like Jah Thomas and Linval Thompson and released several album.
In 1982, Entertaiment which was produced by Jah Thomas was a reworking
of Vin Gordon's "Heavenless" rhythm, and made clear the prime concern
of the new generation of dancehall performers. All these record which
are all featured by Roots Radics band were released in the aftermath of
the violent 1980 Jamaican general election, which had brought the verge
of civil war. In 1990, he released Trisan & Pants. Mr Pants was breaked
out by "New Style" in 1989 and they worked together and recorded this
album. This was well selled in U.K.
