Notes
-----
Look out, the mouse is about to roar again. One of the
fastest and craziest tongues around, Eek-A-Mouse returns
with his weird, jabbering wordplay, setting new stadards for
reggae loquacity and lucidity. Jaws drop slack whenever he
takes to the mike, and the competition falls numbly silent
in the wake of his boisterous and bubbling wordspeak. The
single "D'Yer Maker" is hilarious and fun, peppered with
horns and a drum sample of the original version, blowing
Dread Zeppelin out of the water with the definitive absurd
Led Zeppelin reggae cover for 1991. Elsewhere, Mr. Mouse is
in as fine a form as ever-his vocals are so whacked out and
delightfully weird, it's often easy to lose sight of the
fact that often there are real substantive ideas lurking
underneath. Eek-A-Mouse is indeed in peak form here,
spilling out lines and lines of outrageous rhymes from his
lightning-fast tongue faster than you can blink an eye.
Nimble-tongued, intriguing and always on the mark, he waxes
poetically quixotic on "No Problem," "Border Patrol," "Get
Away," "Rude Boys A Foreign" and "So Fine."
enjoy!!!
