Notes
-----
Since the early seventies, the British version of the
Jamaican national sound has been generally over-looked by
Reggae purists, who have considered it little more than an
imitation of the real thing. Now, at long last, attitudes
are beginning to change and this, the latest in Trojan's
hugely popular 50 track, 3-CD box set series illustrates
just why. Featured here are all the most influential
UK-based acts, many of whom were instrumental in ensuring
the international success of Reggae music. With every
single recording featured appearing on CD for the first
time, this long over-due collection should not only satisfy
the many who have already seen the light, but also convince
those unbelievers that Reggae doesn't just have to be
Jamaican-produced to be worthy of respect.
0MNi gain... d-OMNi-nation, baby !
enjoy!!!
